At Temeku Holdings, we aren't just unicorn hunting nor are we only seeking businesses that self-identify as a "startup". If you don't think you resemble a Silicon Valley startup, don't look or act like a "typical" startup founder, or aren't in the "right" location- that's OK. What we are looking for are solid businesses that are already achieving or on a path to attain sustainable growth and profitability.
For the health and wellness space, we are interested in medical technology, devices, and services as well as businesses promoting healthy living and nutrition. In the hardware technology sector, we are primarily focused on aerospace & defense, electric vehicles, clean energy, and high power systems. If your enterprise is software-centric, it must be deeply embedded in physical devices or interacting with real people operating in healthcare or hardware tech ecosystems in order to be a fit for our portfolio. We will occasionally consider sufficiently compelling businesses adjacent to these focus areas, particularly if based locally in the Southern California region. Our primary geographic focus is the western US.
Angel, pre-seed, and sometimes seed rounds are our sweet spot. We often aim to co-invest with a local network of accredited investors to amplify the impact to your business.
